Titans Solicits for January 2011
Time for the monthly solicits! This month it looks like there are a bunch of one-shots coming out spotlighting several characters. Of the Teen Titans, Wonder Girl is getting a one-shot comic. Certainly not who I’d prefer, but eh; maybe we’ll get lucky and there will be more one shots down the road with other Titans.
You might notice that most of the regular ongoing series this month have a similar cover design. It’s a linewide thing. Pretty much every current ongoing at DC is getting this cover treatment. They’re apparently shooting for “iconic” with this. Most notable is that every series seems to have a logo debuting with this, including team books that never had their own logo before. Pretty cool if you ask me.
Not so cool is that the rest of the reviled Felecia Henderson run on Teen Titans is being collected in a trade called “Hunt for Raven”. It’s been critically savaged, so it’s probably pretty safe to just skip it and wait for the start of JT Kruls run to hit trade. It’s possible Hendersons run won’t be brought up again.
