Mailbag: Beast Boy's and Raven's First Date

Man, would that be the day! How do you come up with this stuff, SL?
Anyways... I call cartoon relatonship! It is slightly more...
interesting. I'd be pretty sure almost like in Betrayal, BB would ask Rae, Rae
would say no, he'd be all sad, she's give into pity, she'd go out with
him... the list goes on... and on...

 BB and Rae would probably take each other out to a place of their
own. BB to a silly comedy movie, and Rae to a dark goth night club. Now,
what can we do to make this more interesting? Let's throw in Mad Mod,
shall we?

He attacks the Tower only to find that two are missing, and he
demands to know where they are.
Then, meanwhile, a big British Soldier robot breaks into the movie
theater and attacks BB and Rae. The robot is new and improved and Rae
can't use her powers against it or something like that, then she gets
captured by it. The robot is slowely crushing her when BB turns into some
giant rhino and attacks it, while everyone watching the movie turns
their attention to the fight and all stare in awe.
 
BB destroys the robot, yada, yada, yada. Then everyone in the theatre
cheers.
The next scene takes place ontop of the tower and BB and Rae have
another boring disscussion like at the end of 'The Beast Within.' Then BB
ends with a bad pun, and Raven slaps him... or something...
I smell a fanfic, baby!!!!

Well, I would have to say the place I see them going for a first date
the most would have to be probably the cafe. Cliche, maybe, but it's how
I view it. When they finally go on a date, I envision Beastboy asking
her where she would like to go and she, instead of coming and saying it,
says "Somewhere quiet where we can talk." This, as intended, drives
Beastboy crazy as he tries to find a place that would be perfect for the
girl he adores. And he does, in a cafe that is quiet, and would even
play music, his request, that she likes. Raven would be touched but would
still sit down and enjoy herself, as she always does. It would take
place in the early evening, when not many people would be there.

Beastboy would then nervously talk to her and constantly blush, until
Raven takes his hand and tells him to relax. After eating dinner, our
favorite changeling would gather up courage to present raven with a
beautiful sapphire gem, and say it brings out her eyes. Raven, stunned,
would ask why, to which he would reply.

"Because I want everything to be perfect, Rae, like you are." At which
point Raven is extremely touched and pulls in Beastboy for a kiss as
her "thank you". They then will go home, one humming contentedly, the
other overwhelmed with surprise and love.

But thats just me.
