Beast Boy

Abilities: Beast Boy has an amazing ability to morph into any animal he chooses, ranging from mammals and dinosaurs to aliens from another planet. Whether it’s cheering up a friend, or fighting crime, he chooses the animal best suited for the job.

Personality: Beast Boy is a carefree, fun-loving superhero. His corny sense of humor is an important part of the team, lifting the spirits of his friends when they’re down. He hates seeing his fellow teammates upset, so he constantly tries to get them to laugh at his jokes, and entertain them with movies or video games. While they may not always laugh, that doesn’t change the fact that Beast Boy is a valued member of the team and they care about him as much as he does them. Also, despite the fact he’s more willing to follow than lead, whenever the time called for him to step up and take charge he wasn’t one to shy away from it.

Aside from his easygoing attitude, Beast Boy also has a part of him he doesn’t show often. After an emotional heartbreak, he still remembers the times he had with Terra, a geomancer who could manipulate earth. Long after her death, he still shows signs that he cares for her. Yet despite this, Beast Boy isn’t one to let it get him down and he continues his job as a superhero unabated. He also tries to hide some of his bigger doubts and insecurities from his team because he doesn’t want them to worry about him. It’s this selfless attitude that makes Beast Boy a great hero.
